Papoila is better

UPDATE: No MRI this Sunday either (18th), techniciann on holuday till Monday, and as I've told you they only do pet MRI's on Sunday evening, so it will the the 25th at the earliest. And no, it can't be done anywhere else bcs I need our doctors for the anaesthesia and the Professor had established a protocol with his mate and the mate is the one who writes the reports, so... Bloody hell!!! So now we wait, again.
------------------------------------------------------

She gained some muscle back, and her eye is less sunken in, and she put on the 1.5 kg she'd lost and then some (she weighs 17.8 kg now - and wow), and it doesn't mean that it can't still be anything serious like a tumour, but she is getting better and looking better and her tear production is normal in both eyes now, and she is happily gnawing on a thick juicy bone - bonus physiotherapy - and for now that is enough bcs she looks healthy and is very content. Our hospital only contacts the MRI clinic on Thursdays (what a practical protocol this is), so that's when I'll find out whether she'll be able to have it this Sunday (animal MRI's on Sundays only), which I hope she will bcs really, WE NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT IS WRONG.

Sorry so terse but wrist is bothering me loads

I'm glad to hear things are looking better for Papolia. I'm still anxious to see what the MRI says and I'm hoping that it is all good! I miss you! Give Papolia a big hug from me!

YAY! Minou says grrrrmow in hopeful celebration, as she's feeling rather better herself. We're keeping our fingers crossed for the MRI results. [And now back to writing. Will this chapter never end?]

Let's hope that Papoila is on the mend.

Does she carry her bones to the bed? My old dog used to do that...she'd refuse to leave it behind. So, when I wouldn't let her have it in the bed she would opt to sleep under it with her bone.

So, are we thinking some sort of autoimmune vs infections focal neuritis? Something else? She still on the steriods?

They damn well better get that MRI done on Sunday.

Well, damn all holiday-taking technicians for lazy buggers. I hope that Papoila continues to improve, and that you continue not to smoke, and that your wrist stops hurting.

YES! YES! YES!!! Good girl, Papoila!!! Gnaw away on that bone and get better SOON.

Can hardly wait to roll and around and play with her in August! YAY!

(Sorry about the !!!! abuse. Am generally prone in the best of times, so Papoila doing better means it's not just excusable but practically mandatory.) !!!
