And if I were an IQ I'd be a 10

Considering that I started studying for exams in December and writing said exams in the beginning of January and that I've had exactly three days off during all this time (19-21th Febr), and considering that the Optional Subject Week started on the 22nd and that today I sat said subject's exam and on Friday I will sit another one for last semester's optional, where could I possibly have got the idea that exams were finished? I'm perfectly serious, I needlessly shocked myself by realising that if I must still bone up and still memorise dense quantities of facts in a ridiculously small amount of time then exam season is, in fact, still very much here even if it is officially over.

The shifts roster was finally available yesterday and I learnt that my colleague and I will be spending all of Saturday at the hospital, which is all right bcs it's certainly better than doing nights. Who knows what those would do to my disleeping patterns, am still not sleeping as it is in my own bed, imagine the alien bed, pet-less, cold-full scenario. Wait, wait, slight misunderstanding, just found out we are indeed scheduled for Saturday but from 21.00 to 9.00. Oh I can smell the mindfuck already.

On a brighter note, it's March.

Oh dear, what a start to the month. I hope you don't end up disliking March too.

It is good to have March finally here. I hope you survive the night in the hospital. I am a bit confused though. Will you be working at the hospital overnight, or are you scheduled to sleep there?

Yes. March. Yay! I echo Beth. Are you sleeping at the hospital?

Keem says hi. She doesn't like February either. She applied for two different positions and was turned down for both. Actually, 3, I guess. And I hate February because it is the first full month of fucking Tax Hell.

Udge, it'd be hard pressed to surpass February but let's not jinx it.

Boulder, my feelings exactly.

Beth and Dana, if I'm very lucky, I am. If I'm very unlucky and the animals staying at the hospital are very sick we may have to get up every 2 hours, every hour or not sleep at all, we never know. Start praying now please, I'm really tired from all these non-stop exams.

Aurelia, amen.

I, too, welcome March! Hope you survive your shift - and get some sleep!

Pardon my lack of enthusiasm for March... can we please skip straight to April?

(Oh, and my hamburger face photos are now up for your viewing pleasure.)

Bah. My comment got tossed by blogger. Something along the lines of good luck and may the beasties have quiet nights and may you still learn lots. I hated being on-call because sleep deprivation makes me very cranky and stupid (go figure), so you have an extra dollop of sympathy.
